This new video and podcast series which is also available on the International Continence Society's ICS TV and ICS Podcast explores the role, benefits and optimal usage of urodynamics from the personal perspectives of a range of experts in the field.
Over recent years, opposing viewpoints in the literature about the value of urodynamics in functional urology have made this a confusing topic for many. Filmed in the style of a TV documentary, this video series and matching podcasts aim to dispel misconceptions and encourage reflection.
Future videos in the series will feature dialogues between two or more specialists on the use of urodynamics in specific clinical settings, explore quality assurance in urodynamic practice and provide accessible explanatory content aimed at patients.
Coordination, filming and production of these videos and podcasts have been funded by Laborie. Our thanks to all the experts for taking part and to the ICS for hosting the series, which are housed in the (non-industry) ‘Expert Opinion’ section of ICS TV and ICS Podcasts are freely accessible to non-members as well as members of the society.
The views and opinions expressed in the videos are those of the featured experts and not necessarily those of Laborie or the ICS.
