Understand the role urodynamics plays in diagnosing storage and voiding problems in chronic pelvic pain patients. Chronic Pain syndromes can influence bladder and outlet function in different ways.

Common indications discussed include: BPS/IC, Chronic Prostate Pain Syndrome, dysfunctional (painful) voiding with pelvic floor dysfunction. Implementation of urodynamics regarding needs careful consideration, because the investigation can create more burden in patients. With clinical cases and relevant background information, we will inform you on how to approach and treat these patients.

Dr. Dick Janssen received his medical degree from Maastricht University School of Medicine. He continued with a PhD at the department of Urology at the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre. His topic focussed on Overactive Bladder Syndrome with promotors John P.F.A. Heesakkers and Jack A. Schalken.

He has specialized in treatment of urinary incontinence, complex neuro-urology patients and pelvic floor abnormalities with extended hands-on experience in normal and advanced urodynamics.
