Later he did his postdoctoral fellowship with Prof. Satish Rao with a focus on neurogastroenterology and motility. Currently, he works as the Professor of Medicine and Consultant of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Internal Medicine at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Kota Bharu.
