Bladder Health, BPO, and BOO: How utilizing Urodynamics can better support our patients 

Dr. Wayne Kuang is the founder of the ManVsProstate Crusade that envisions BPH/BPO Guidelines that prioritize the Preservation of Bladder Health. He is a graduate of MIT and attended medical school at Stanford University before completing his urology residency and fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He and his family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he was on faculty at the University of New Mexico and a partner at a Large Urology Group Practice for 8 years. In 2014, he founded MD for Men a solo practice that specializes in helping men face, embrace and move through fear to become the best version of themselves.

Dr. Dean Elterman is an Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Toronto, sub-specializing in functional urology. As an attending urologist at the University Health Network (Toronto), his clinical and research interests include voiding dysfunction, novel technologies for BPH, sacral neuromodulation, male incontinence, and men’s health. He trained at the University of Toronto, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical College. He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Services Research from Cornell. He is the Medical Director of the Sexual Health Clinic at Princess Margaret Cancer Center and Fellowship Director for functional urology. He is the recipient of the 2022 SIU Innovators award, leads numerous clinical trials in BPH and neuromodulation, and has published over 200 peer reviewed manuscripts including the lead author of the Canadian guidelines for Male LUTS/BPH.
