GOAL
- To gain more knowledge of Urodynamic investigations and curve interpretation in order to improve the performance of examinations in daily practice.

- Gain an understanding of Good Urodynamic Practice (GUP)
- Appreciation of the common indications for performing urodynamic studies (UDS) as part of patient investigation

About the speaker

Professor Kamran Ahmed, MBBS, MRCS, PhD, FRCS (Urol)
Sheikh Khalifa Medical City,
Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Kamran Ahmed is a urologist currently working at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Abu Dhabi, UAE. His specialist interests include Urethral Reconstructive Surgery (traumatic and non-traumatic); Andrology (prosthetic surgery); male infertility surgery, and urethral continence surgery (urethral sphincter).
He has been a Senior Academic Urologist and consultant urological surgeon since completion of training in 2016 within the Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine (FoLSM), King’s College Hospital, King’s College London School of Medicine. He also worked at the Institute of Andrology and University College London Hospital and for the Department of Surgery and Cancer, Imperial College London.
He holds a PhD degree in Medical Education from Imperial College London. He has received a number of awards, and clinical and educational grants, from various organisations, including the European Association of Urology, the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the Royal College of Surgeons, and the National Institute for Health Research.
He is a trainer at various international institutions and organizations including European Association of Urology (EAU), IRCAD centre (Taiwan) and Karl-Storz training centre, Berlin Germany and has been a Visiting Professor to several international institutions.
He has more than 430 publications, including nearly peer-reviewed journal articles, and is credited with more than 200 presentations in national and international meetings. Additionally, he is editor and author of four urological textbooks and has written a number of book chapters.
