This One-Day course is designed for the healthcare professional with little or no experience with Urodynamic testing. The course provides a setting for the medical professional to become more comfortable with performing Urodynamics by providing a hands-on approach.
Learning Objectives:
- Course participants will be able to understand and describe how to prepare the patient for Urodynamic testing
- Describe the components of Urodynamics testing
- Describe the function of the lower urinary tract
- Set up the Laborie equipment and run the latest version of software.
- Troubleshoot the Laborie software and equipment

About the speaker
Jill Wisniewski
Clinical Educator
Laborie Medical Technologies
Jill Wisniewski, LPN is a nurse clinical educator at Laborie and one of the facilitators of the 1-day practical urodynamics course.
She holds her LPN degree from Marymount School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Popular Culture from Bowling Green State University. Jill has been in the healthcare field (both allied health and nursing) for the past 25 years.
Jill began her nursing career at the bedside at Akron General Medical Center in the family practice unit. From there, she went on to develop her nursing skills in various specialties including plastic surgery, orthopedics, OB GYN, and outpatient family medicine. She began teaching Medical Assisting at Total Technical Institute, then Kaplan University, where she wrote the medical assisting program.
In 2007, she found her ‘home’ specializing in Urology and Urodynamics.
Jill has worked in the Urology clinic setting seeing patients on an outpatient basis as well as in the OR as a scrub nurse and laboratory technician all in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
Jill joined Laborie in 2015.
She holds an Ohio Nursing license and is also a member of SUNA (Society of Urological Nurses Association), PUNS (Pediatric Urology Nurses Association), the ANA (American Nurses Association), and is an active alumni member of Alpha Phi Sorority.
Through her involvement in the American Red Cross Women’s Heart Health Philanthropies, she donates time to the advance the future of nursing and healthcare.
In addition to having completed several peer reviews for Elsevier and McGraw Hill, Jill recently finished a collaborative Urodynamics Chapter for the SUNA Core Curriculum book which will be published 2023/2024. Jill recently received her certification in Facilitating Adult Learning.
